Be born again as a Christian, what does that mean? The word “Born” from the Christian context means to be produced or created. Likewise, to be “born again” means to be produced or created again spiritually. From the throne room perspective, to be born again means, to let go of our will on earth and submit to the will of our Father who is in heaven.
One must have the desire to seeking to see beyond the ordinary. It is the birth place where our desire to be in tune with our Lord are driven by our sense of been the image of a supernatural God who is over us in heaven. It is the sensational feeling of condemnation to death from within the inner man to make it right with our Maker and not to miss the mark. You might view it as the package been established by the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and a gate way to heaven.
Once you become "born again" spiritually, you become a Christian and a believer with an undivided mind. Now! let's get the record straight. You can be a Christian with unbelief. This is the arena where you see Christians with divided mind about the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and who He really is. The Bible enjoins in (James 1:8) " A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."
To many, being Christian is simply "admire Jesus" and probably "go to church," but that is not the gospel according to the Bible. In (James 1:22)the Bible teaches us to be “doers of the word and nothearers only otherwise we are deceiving ourselves”.
To be in Christ, is a great thing. It is what makes us feel like Christians and take delight in the things in the body of Christ. But that alone is not enough. We must also be committed to the practice of the Word of God and devote ourselves to learning about Jesus Christ and develop a personal relationship with Him. We must also see ourselves to be uplifted in His Holy Spirit that will be of great profit to us both physically and spiritually.
Also, we ought to do what Jesus said; He said many things including: "believe; repent; receive God's special manifestation which is the Holy Spirit, love one another", and clearly Jesus said: "Do not wonder that I say that,'You must be born again.'”As born again Christian, it is your responsibility to believe that there is the Jehovah God: but that alone is only a starting point, “You believe that there is one God,you do well: the devils believe and tremble” (James 2:19). We ought to believe that Christ Jesus is the Sovereign God, our Lord and Personal Savior.
A thousand year before the birth of Christ, prophet Isaiah prophesied “For unto us a child is born, unto us a sonis given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6) From the throne room perspective, this clearly reveals that our Heavenly Father, the uncreated Creator visited His own creation in the flesh as Jesus the Christ who was the driving force in all the wonderful things we know today.
In the account of John, Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and lifeno man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).Jesus is the complete expression of God and God's Living Truth. We need to set our priority right by engaging the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. He is the way to Heaven. We need to accept Him first as our Lord and Personal Savior and confess our transgressions.
Beloved, the book of (Romans 3:23) says “Everyone has sinned, we all fall short of God's glorious standard”.Sinned means that we have missed the mark of goodness God requires for having a relationship with Him. When we lie, hate, lust or gossip, we have missed the standard God has set. God's Word has been evidence since our beginning in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve had free reign of the Garden and everything they would ever need was provided. But the tree in the middle of the Garden was the only thing forbidden. God warned Adam and Eve against eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis3:1-24).They disregarded God's words. Had they listened to Him and not giving in to temptation by the serpent they would never have known evil. This was the fall, the failing of mankind passed onto every generation. We wonder about all the suffering in life, why bad things happen and the evil in the world, but because of Adam's and Eve's sin of disobedience in the Garden, we are all subject to those things. You might view it as an inheritance left by our ancestors. There has not been a person since who has not sinned against God. It's genetic. Friends, we were all born in sin, we grew in sin, we walked in sin, we talked in sin, and our iniquities have entangled us all.
But Irrespective of our shortcoming, Jesus whose death on the cross was life, whose pain was healing and whose tears were celebration and joy unto us has redeemed us and promised us eternal life as a gift if we obey Him. He is the Helmet of our salvation and has the power to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and purify us with His blood He shed at Calvary.
